Your Specialist invites crews from the Parrotones network that match the trade and the area — more than needed, so that at least three bid. Crews of every size join the network, and if a Crew gives us a California license number, we check its status on the CSLB website. Want it narrower? Virtual Estimate ($199) is for compact projects that photos and video can show in full. For a typical residential remodel up to $50,000 we recommend On-Site Scope ($499): a Specialist measures on site and writes a detailed Scope of Work, so the bids rest on facts, not pictures.
Complex Scope is built for ADUs, build-outs, full-home and commercial jobs: it adds a feasibility check, permit pre-check and zoning review. For a commercial remodel of $50,000–$150,000, On-Site Scope Plus usually fits; above that, Complex Scope. Projects start at $10,000, and we remodel existing spaces — no ground-up construction.
On-Site Scope Plus and Complex Scope can split a project into up to three separate trades or scopes — say, a kitchen remodel, a new roof and an electrical upgrade — and each one gets its own three normalized bids. You can hire the best crew for each part instead of one contractor for everything.

No. You pay Parrotones only for your plan, add-ons and perks. The price and payment terms for the work are agreed between you and the Crew you hire, in your contract, and you pay the Crew directly.
Every paid plan includes the Replace Guarantee: if the Crew you hire does not meet the standard of work in your contract, or a conflict cannot be resolved, we help you replace the Crew — the remaining work should stay within your budget, with an overrun of no more than 10%.
